As many of you may have noticed, In Exile is no more... This is not the very end, but a break for an uncertain period of time.

Some of us, Tobi, Simon, Jonas and Sascha, are currently working on new songs under the flag of their new band 7 GATES. .

As a little farewell present and to thank you for your incredible, unlimited support over all the past years, all we can do is to give you our latest, unpublished song on your ways. We hope that Shutdown 24 somehow will fill the hole we leave behind.

It's been a real pleasure. Thank you for evertything!

This year's Rocking Christmas is drawing nearer from day to day. In the meantime, you can watch the neat flyer... The action begins around 7:30 pm, and for cheap four Euros you'll get to see us and Tagteam Thorben, Suck Says and Die Omas Knochen. Local matadors galore! We're looking forward to seeing you again and are nonstop rehearsing a brandnew song for you!

The In Exile Merchandise-Machinery has been unleashed - and it is coming for you! We just decided to begin on a small level and let our pretty new logo print on jazzy buttons. Those can now be purchased for 0.50 Euros per unit everywhere we can be seen playing live. Or you order yourselves some via our mailorder form (which newly can be accessed via the menu)! Great news!

...can read our site again from now on. As you've probably noticed, you can swicth between English and German in the upper left corner. Horny, isn't it? You're wholeheartedly invited, Swedes, Dutchs (is this the plural?!), Bulgarians and all the other non-German-speeking folks!

Monday | 09-24-2007 | Everything is new!

In case you've asked yourselves what the hell we're doing all the time, then you can admire a small part of the results right here: We've got a brandnew logo, which finally looks like In Exile and Metal (a huge thank you goes to the designer Johannes L'hoest!!!), and, as you've probably already noticed, a completely remade homepage!

Besides, we retreated into the exile to work on new songs, get the DVD from last year's Todtenwiesen Open Air ready, design T-Shirts, and so on. So when you're not hearing or seeing anything of us for some time, it's just because we've got so much to do putting all our new ideas into action!

And in order to make the wait a bit more comfortable, we've just been confirmed again for this December's Rocking Christmas!

Sunday | 09-16-2007 | Gig in Die Halle

Next Saturday we will be playing in "Die Halle" in Bergen-Enkheim. If you want to make you on your way to see us, Arven and Amyris, then be there around 8 pm. The entrance costs 4 Euros!

Now all that's left to do is to thank you for your great support in Dortelweil and in the Nachtleben Frankfurt! We had a lot of fun on this weekend, and we hope, so did you!

Life is a good place to be. Only two days remaining, and we'll be sharing the stage in front of the Brunnencenter in Dortelweil (sic!) with the guys and girls from Arven, Suck Says and Die Omas Knochen, rolling our eyeballs and thrashing some songs in to the hopefully starlit nightsky. And what's even better: The whole thing is for free, and nevertheless worth its money! And who knows... maybe you'll even get to hear some new stuff!

PS: If you still want to buy some special-price-tickets (5,50 Euros instead of 6.50) for the gig in the Nachtleben in Frankfurt in the package together with Chased Crime, then you can also do this on Friday!

It's been a while since the last update once again... On the other hand: You are hereby provided with enough In Exile-gigs to get save through the summer. In case you wish to see us live, you can do this on June 22th in Dortelweil (an Open Air), on June 24th in the Nachtleben in Francfort (together with Chased Crime) or on the 1st of September on the Endless Summer Open Air 2007. And although we cannot promise yet, we still can say that if the metal gods are with us, we will be playing some brand new songs! Have a great summer until then!

Good news concerning the entrance fee this Saturday: There will be none! The action starts off at 21 pm, but you can already be there and have some drinks around 19 pm. Monday | 02-12-2007 | January Review

Hello together! There are some news to report. We commenced the new year by playing some top-secret private concerts. We devastated the Irish Pub in Idstein and the annual Distanz-WG-Event in Karben. The rest of the time we spent on rehearsals and songwriting. We already got so fucking many ideas that they could easily fill the next two releases, and once we find the time to cast them all in songs you should better be prepared! Until then we promise that it will be worthwhile for you to drop by here from time to time!

At first, a fucking huge thank you goes out to Emily, who isn't (like we have been told while we were eating some XXXXXXL-Schnitzel and drinking some Äppler) really contended with her work, but nevertheless took REALLY good photos on Friday 13th! And in case you were not there on Friday for some strange reason, and therefore missed this opportunity, you can now get to know our new drum monster a little closer. Sunday | 09-17-2006 | Drummer replacement

Holy shit, a lot of things happened since the last update. First of all, we hereby officially say farewell to our former drummer Simon. And while it's very sad to see our musical ways split up, it's a real honour to welcome his successor. Ladies and Getlemen, Sascha Burow will be drumming for us from now on, and we hope that you'll be there when he makes his debut for us on October 13th. More to come the next days!

We are done recovering, are watching videos and photographs and grant a little honymilk-recreation to our Frontmöth. And this has to be said now, and everyone that was banging in front of the stage on friday may feel spoken to: You are the greatest, honestly, and we hope to see you again this summer. The setlist is finsihed, we are well rehearsed, the flyer is online, including location plans and all. And just to point this out clearly: We are ready and willing to destroy everything that is to be destroyed. Isn't this cool: On July 7th, we turn the Todtenwiese in Bad Vilbel into a burning inferno, and the Koksnutten, 08/14, Schandtat and the Omas Knochen will hopefully help us. Today, the May edition of the German HEAVY-Magazine is available. What is already pretty good news - after all, Judas Priest are banging over the Cover, including the Metal God and his motorbike. What even makes it better: Our name is on page 54, under it a well-known CD-Cover plus Review, and we think, we really can be satisfied with eight out of twelve possible points for the beginning. If you hurry up, you still might catch the mag until May 30th for the price of 3,50 €. If not, we'll surely make it available to you sooner or later!

Today, an UPS-car parked in front of our door - and delivered 31 kilograms of pure metal in shape of our CD! Therefore we'll surely already have a big pack of it with us on Friday! That's what the prophecy says, and so be it!

In case you have been wondering about what we were doing all the time, you can see the results for yourselves on Friday 5th December 2005. Then we'll be playing at the JUZ Bad Vilbel - and we'll have our first demo-album with us. The CD's called HOURS PASSED IN EXILE, is packed out with 10 songs and reaches 46 minutes of playing time. An 8-paged 4-colour-booklet with all lyrics is also included! We hope you didn't forget us after all this time and we're already looking forward to seeing you!
